Why Does it always rain... etc. etc.

What is it about May? It seems to be the most indecisive of months, it quite literally cant decide between giving you frostbite or a sunburn! And typically the weekend I want to do a shoot, its cold and drizzly!

I ventured down to our fair capitol city of Edinburgh last week, and I was met with a near constant light downpour for 4 days, which isn't all bad if I'm perfectly honest, when you can get images like this one!

But as much fun as it is taking photos of flowers and being "artistic", its not the kind of photography I had in mind, I had something a bit more dynamic planned. 

Cue my friend Iona, who not only walked half way across the city, but endured a rather biting wind (in just a t-shirt and torn jeans at times), but also carried on after burning her thumb on our attempt at pyrotechnics. 

I will say another huge thank you to Iona, and I hope you enjoy the end result from both our hard work!

Thank you for taking a minute or two from your day to read what I have to say. Lets get straight to the point though, I am definitely not a writer, in fact even Twitter can sometimes be a literary challenge for me, but I do get the odd moment where I have to express myself or share an image in a way that isn't limited by characters or shoved in the the news feed of everyone I know. this way they have to click a link and therefore enter an unspoken agreement to be offended by what i have to offer!

So for now that is all I have to say, but I plan to use this platform productively, and not just a venting outlet, I shall share my work, as well as behind the scenes images, hints&tips on how I create my images and exclusive shots for this bog only.

So I must thank you again if you have made it this far, and as a reward here is a picture of my face!
